COMPOSITION PER ML:
Gonadorelin 0.1 mgs.
Gonadorelin is the synthetic equivalent of the gonadotrophin-releasing hormone
(GnRH) and acts by stimulating the synthesis and release of the LH and FSH from
the anterior pituitary gland. This causes follicular maturation and the subsequent
ovulation following a normal physiological pattern.
Administering an intramuscular dose, within the recommended range, induces an
immediate and substantial increase in the levels of LH and FSH in plasma.
After intramuscular administration, gonadorelin is rapidly absorbed at the injection
site and its plasmatic half-life is approximately 20 minutes.
It is rapidly metabolized into inactive peptides and amino acids in various tissues,
especially at the renal and hepatic level. The main routes of elimination are the
urinary and respiratory routes.”

INDICATIONS:

Doe rabbits: Induction of ovulation.

Cows: Induction of ovulation, prevention of delayed ovulation, improvement in

post-partum fertility and treatment of ovarian cysts.
